How to Install libvtk-java software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libvtk-java software package provides Visualization Toolkit - A high level 3D visualization library - java, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libvtk-java

libvtk-java is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libvtk-java package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libvtk-java *

You will get with libvtk-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
